larger oil passsage orings for aftermarket head gasket
« on: March 28, 2019, 02:35:37 PM »
is it only .2mm larger and what kind, buma or whatever that one is called, or oil/heat resistant. where do i get some, anyone have a large supply of them? I don't really want to order 40 of them from an o-ring distributor. thanks a lot.
i could never find the paper with the bore specs and attempting another 24 of those measurements...after the first check, i was like, done with that. i did find the elongated oring on the special nut was totally decomposing somewhat. took a month to get the base gasket off, finally had to use a gerber filet knive. loctite chisel works as good as permatex gasket remover spray, that's infant safe, pets too (junk.) tuned the valves up. assembled them with 15-40 honda motor oil, then seen the moly disulphide grease instructions. so valves gotta come out again to put that on. so i don't get that part wrong, is there any special way to apply the thin film? just put it on the valve stem? or pack a tiny amount in the guide? it's coming right along. parked for 3 or 4 months now. sucks.

Torque-Squish should take care of the 0.2mm unless you find an O-ring only 0.1

Just put the molly on the stems.....................
