cb650 nighthawk clutch disc question
« on: April 09, 2019, 10:20:45 AM »
My clutch is slipping a little, so gonna change it out. manual says the limit on A-7 discs, is 3.2mm and the one B-disc at 2.4   but
my old ones measure backwards?    the B disc single end one is thicker, like 3.something   and the 7 A discs are just over 2.0   could I have the wrong clutch pack in this bike? thanks for any advise    this is a chopper Frankenstein  Heinz 57

long time since I've been in my 650 clutch, but from memory the B (anti chatter) plate is thicker than the rest. Which manual are you using.

thanks for getting back. only reference I had was the 79 manual that came up here for 650cb. so, its opposite then because the 79 ref shows A as thicker. I knew I had something backwards!
