If you change to points and footshift, you could have had, a hundred runs behind you..
Oh yeah air shifter worked fine on all the passes.. It was slightly binded before..Have a foot shifter in my box just incase.. Im gonna try a set of points and see what we have
you going after a grey ghost??haha billp
Trey, if it shifts fine with your foot and don't pop out of gear, it's probably your air shifter that is not set up properly.Sam.
Quote from: TreyAllen on July 14, 2015, 01:36:17 PMI noticed on the last pass that it failed that it still had around 100psi in the tank and still managed to slip into false neutral.I put 140 in and ran again and all 5 gears pulled no problem. Cant seem to figure out what caused that failure. It happened earlier in the day as well. I probably just need to get the MPS switch and go Electric/air and see if it helps..A loose chain or one too tight with an air shifter isn't a good combination either. Be sure its adjusted properly. After having trouble with mine not shifting and replacing a lot of internal and external components, I ended up replacing the air kill with an MPS electronic box with adjustable kill time. That did seem to solve the problem. Glad i had that box laying around from another bike.
