I did worry about like “what if I blow fuses and can’t find any” but I feel like I’ve I blow 3 fuses in a trip it’s safe to say somethings wrong and I shouldn’t try a fourth lol but there’s always alternative to jump it or something. I ended up getting another shorai battery, I wanted to try something else but I set up my tray around that battery originally and everything that had similar dimensions had terminals reversed and I’m too lazy to reroute/rewire my power and grounds lol
As for bike updates. The dyna set up is all mounted, timed and finished! I ordered a genuine Bosch 4 pin relay and added a little rubber grommet to the mount to hopefully avoid having the relay fail on me again. The carbs are cleaned, rejetted, and vacuum synched. It fires right up, Idles nicely and revs freely. I need to set my wideband back up and check things but I definitely had it way richer than necessary with my last set up and honestly there wasn’t any reason for it. Currently using 40 pilots, 125 mains and I forget how many “notches” my needles are raised with the Suzuki shims. I think maybe 1.5. (Previous were 42s and 128s)
Next thing was I really liked the look of the clothe wrapped plug wires revival cycles sells but I wanted to use the ones dyna and Dave use with the set up. I ended up ordering some 8mm nylon braided wire loom in a variety of patterns and colors to add some subtle color to the bike but maintain the included wires. Waited weeks because it shipped directly from China but it came out really nicely. I used some wire heat shrink on the coil end to hold it, kept it pulled real tight and used the resistor cap boot to pull and lock the other side down. If you ask me they came out really nice even if I’m not sure about the color. If you think I should have went a different color, let me know, or don’t lol it took me hours to settle on the red
Anyway. A bunch of little stuff to button up and check over and I should be able to let’er rip again lol
Sorry for the long post
