Oil Leak - Cylinder Head

There is a little oil leak which is dripping from the cylinder head, between cylinders 1-2. It drips down onto the exhaust at a steady rate. We tried to remedy this by putting a longer valve cover bolt in, with rtv on the threads. On the second start up it did not leak while running, but dripped some oil after it sat for a little while. We are trying our best to fix this in the frame, but we can’t tell definitely where the oil leak is coming from.
The value cover gasket is glued and not leaking. 1 thread of the valve cover gasket bolt is showing throw the bottom.
Any help or suggestions would be helpful

To find the leak, clean the suspect area, let it dry completely. Spray foot powder all over the thing. Run motor. Foot powder will turn black wherever it leaks.
A 500/550 can be fixed in frame, 750 can’t.

If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

The most common cause of oil leaks above the head gasket, but below the valve cover, is the round rubber "pucks" under the cam towers. With a frame kit, the top end of a 750 can be serviced in the frame.(shameless plug
