Headlight sizing

Wanting to put the LSL 6.5” Clubman available at Cognito Moto or Spiegler on my bike. Stock brackets are 6.5”, but the Clubman requires a 6.9” bracket distance. Noticing the stock brackets have some flex. Anyone foresee issues with forcing it to work?

A little quick math says about 4mm per side. doesn't sound like much.
