Of course money is always a delaying factor. I was trying to figure out what to do for signals but decided to borrow the signals from my 550 since they dont work bc of something in my wiring system. I could also borrow the truck lite head light and be done. I was considering this because im leaking at my o rings at the base gasket on the 550 and have a rebuild kit for it...so I might as well do that now. I wanted to polish my control housings on the 750, I saw them recently one on a pro build online on a 550 and they looked wonderful. I bought 7/8 grips from bitlwell and they are tight, tight....like won't fit on my throttle tube tight....maybe i have the wrong one on there? I think I will be able to use a banjo and line right from the caliper which would be nice. I haven't upgraded any electrical for this bike...I WANTED new harness or mUnit, new coils, wires, caps, elec points, reg/rec...but who has an extra 1k for all of that.
I still need to:
hook up brake lines
controls and levers
throttle and clutch cables
tune up
chain and idler
rear tail light ??
turn signals - just need to be installed
head light - steal from my 550?
paint a black tank
source emblem for side cover
decide on a seat option...either a new stock seat for 200 or recover the seat i have...I just haven't found any cover patterns I liked.
I still have to replace a rear wheel bearing, I probably need to replace the brake shoes as well.
An allen bolt head kit on here would look nice...all my screws were sandblasted so they will look like #$%*. There is a couple donor motors in the shop and I think between them I may have a full set.
