Yes, The back half of that exhaust is hydroformed, and the front half are mandrel bent sections welded together.

 The Rotors are the Drilled & Thinned (modified from stock) that I offer, but with some special scalloped reliefs around the OD and ID.

finally some bikes similar to the hondas with these boxes on them....its only ever adventure bikes rocking them....if these puppies can handle it then the 750 can.

Finally finished my front fender. I took a stock 750 fender and a fender off a cb400 that runs an 18" wheel, removed the rivets on both and separated the fender from the bracket. I chopped the top portions of both brackets and combined the cb400 upper to the stock 750 bracket lowers and welded then used the cb400 full fender. Some length was removed to get it well below the torozzi fork brace and I used 8mm nut and bolts to join the bracket and fender again.

I did this because my original issue was the stock 750 fender left way too much a gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender since its able to accommodate the 19" wheel....from the side you could see a giant gap above the wheel and it looked like #$%*. The fender will probably get bobbed over the winter but at least this is all done. The gloss black torozzi brace with the fender frenched in went back to its original bike,  the cb550....It had a nice finish and looked cool but it wasn't functional, and since I can run a torozzi or run a stock fender and have that massive gap, it didnt make sense to keep it.


Only thing left is m unit blue, new electrical, and upgrade any cheap amazon hardware with quality #$%*.

Ill make another post with pictures of the bike with all 4 fenders on it.

Thanks for the compliments, now that im looking at this it looks like the front of the fender needs to come down a bit or hug the wheel a little more. Here are all 4 fenders on my bike so far posted in order of installation

you can see the gap on the full stock fender and the bobbed stock fender. The front end feels much stiffer now that im running a fender AND fork brace.

#1 is cool looking but non functional, has large gap, i also bobbed it too short in the rear
#2 is functional, has large gap, makes the front look larger which is the opposite im looking to achieve with the 18" front rim.
#3 looks cool but not functional, attached to the fork brace and not the fork lowers, it actually helped throw even more water around my bike and onto my legs in the rain.
#4 functional and good fitment - still can bob for more aggressive look.


edit: i can run multiple fenders, duh. ill modify another one so i have a full fender and short option.

Reached out to a Frog Specialities in California as they are the only state side Beringer supplier here. Just as I sent that email to them I saw that Carpy's website says they have them stocked already. On the official Beringer page they only carry the bracket made for k0-k2 "C" bracket but Carpy's carries the one for k3-k6 which is actually what I need. Looks like I'm going to go back to single disc  and run Beringer caliper and rotor, gonna cost me $1260 to do that and my twin calipers can be donated to the K1.

Edit: found a good condition shoei fairing for 50 bucks, I get to start fresh as mine is officially beat to #$%*.

While still putting together the k1, i'll be stripping down my black 750 to prepare it for a M-unit Blue, all new wire harness, and 836 kit. I purchased a frame kit for this specifically but i'm having second thoughts about cutting up my frame. Purchased a cruisin' image piston kit because it cost 50 bucks right now...so I ordered two...If I pull the motor out sooner than later then I can drop off the jugs to get bored and have them back and ready in April...have the bike back together and maybe zero down time for the riding season.

Other items to take care of:

SS rear wheel spokes, replace due to  bent spoke/ new tires
get front dent removed from tank and repaint tank, side covers, and new shoei fairing gloss black with clear.
Should have shocks replaced and dual disc removed and beringer single side installed by then as well..
Ill update after most of this is accomplished.

The air shocks are on the gold K1 and will be staying on that bike for now. The shocks im talking about changing are on my black daily rider 750.

I finally played with the positioning of my handle bars and i have to tell you, if you are considering adjustable bars like these....do it.

one tooth position over at both pivot points gives me a very amazing cafe racer style bar thats incredibly comfortable, no need to change brake lines, throttle cables or clutch cable. Im really happy. Its kind of crazy just how drastic the changes can be while not having to swap out parts. One tooth over on the top pivot gave me a more comfortable, narrow scrambler type bar. Crazy.

Ill be stealing my race tech emulators from the 550 - 5 years of riding my 550 with stock forks I never complained much, just a couple seasons of my 750 stock front end and ive complained a lot...dont think i would get the extra money out of a sale of the 550 with them in there anyway.

Without looking through your whole thread, which bars do you have? Were they Laverda Jota style adjustables?

I've referenced triumphs earlier in this thread for similarities to our 750s as far as size and stature....But the triumph 1200 scrambler makes me want to attempt something crazy.

SHOWA 47mm front forks with 250mm of front wheel travel - thats 10 inches. The rear of the bike has twin Öhlins with 250mm of rear wheel travel.

Say I bought a used 1200 scrambler front end, got a custom triple from cognito, custom spokes laced to my 18" front rim,, do you think my 2" extended swing arm with a secondary lower shock mount position (further back) would be enough to make this work? Here are pictures of the bike, and at the end is a custom scrambler  that has supermoto tires - which is kinda more in line with the end result I would be seeking considering im running matching 18" rims right now and would want to keep them.


edit:

i could go with showa 45mm fork with 200mm of wheel travel or the 47mm fork with 250mm of wheel travel.

I want these front forks because I'm SICK of Michigan roads throwing 1"-6" pot holes and cracks as well as 3"-6" inch frost eaves....I ride around with my buddy on his 850GS and he doesnt complain about #$%* and has 230mm of travel.....If everyone is throwing on GSXR forks, why cant I throw these on?

The scrambler sits 3" taller than a stock 750 so I would have to go with a low profile seat to compensate, most likely custom rear shocks.

Yeah,the extended swing-arm will usually slow your your bike's handling down and make it feel like it handles slow.
I like the pics on the top what you posted,where there's two separate axle mounting points  ;)

That Super Build Maximum has caught my eye before...  I would go with it too.
