These guys hold a couple auctions a year. Good deals are hard to find as Wisconsin based Ebay seller MrMonkeyClaw snaps up everything.

The seller of the bikes is Mr. Monkeyclaw. These auctions he has must be bikes that are to good to scrap out.He has adds all over Michigan to buy as well as many other places I am sure. A friend of mine here in Kalamazoo that sold him some had to threaten a court case over an issue but it finally got resolved. He owns a scrap metal biz as well as car parts and other enterprises. He does well on these sales.

I believe mach IV is a different guy doing the same business. Mach IV parts some rare stuff, I'm surprised and pleased to see anything left whole.

In prior auctions by this same auction company I have seen MMC as a bidder (often the winning bidder), which is why I don't think he is the seller here, but of course I could be wrong.

mistermonkeyclaw and machIVmotors are one and the same outfit, or at least tightly connected. If you watch ebay long enough, you will find parts that one guy did not sell pop up in the other guy's auction. I caution everybody to bid on either guy's auctions. They use a lot of shill bidding to drive up prices. You will not get a deal. Just look at auctions that have 15-20 bids and check the bidder IDs

Just here for the show as I have my popcorn readily available.  Those who know about these auctions and the seller(s) errrr. Well, they know.

Seems like Machiv has been on a rampage lately.  In the last six months, every used part that is actually useable, reasonable, and for a jap bike that someone might actually want is for sale by MachIV

I was pulling into the Davenport swap meet with Hondas in the truck and was approached by a nice lady representing mach IV and another guy I believe to be mr Monkeyclaw separately but at the same time. But, could all be part of the buyer deal.

I always wondered why Appelton Wi. was such a hotbed of motorcycling junking. For a while it seemed like there were several parts dealers. Probably for the reasons listed. Recently I saw a complaint of a person that was high bidder on a rolled rim but didn't get it. Later it was re-listed.

I've been to a few of these auctions now and took my son with me last saturday. Always nice to spend a couple hours checking out old bikes. The overall quality of bikes was definitely higher this time. Many of them looked like they were a carb clean and fresh battery away from being runners. There was also the obvious attempts to shine a few turds (all of the bikes are sprayed with WD-40 and a few wads or steel wool were left on the ground from a last-minute chrome "polish").

There's some big-time buyers that come to this. David Silver's had a truck there (they fill shipping containers and sell then in England). There was a guy speaking Japanese into a headset (presumably to a phone bidder). The strong selling prices reflect that. Lucky for all of them I spent all my money on a house last year so I was purely an observer (though the orange Norton was really tugging at my hearstrings!)

I forgot about this and didn't check in until it was over. A couple of the bikes I was interested in, specifically an FT500 and a '75 750F both went for very reasonable prices of $500 each.

I saw a cb500T around Chicago, I'm thinking it was reasonable. Facebook marketplace. Probably gone already.
