 I like EBC. Look for the organic or non-sintered. The sintered ones work great but squeal. And genuine Honda are also very, very good.

I run EBC semi-sintered pads on my bikes. Never had them squeal.

I just ordered those a few days ago.  I applied some grease on the backside of the pads and they are still squeaking so I'm going to sand down the sides more.

My bikes have low cost pads from DSS.
My K6 has dual front brakes, both rotors from DSS that work fine.
My K2 has stock K6 single rotor.... huge difference... this is not a brake But its rear brake work better, old Honda shoes.

I have used SBS before. Pads had thick layer of paint on outside I had to sand down completely to make pads to move smooth in caliper while braking.

I have tried two sets of the EBC semi-scintered pads.  One set on my 750 and the other on my G1000.  Both were terrible.  Very poor stopping power and both sets of pads looked like there were chunks of material ripped out.  Both bikes had stock brake components with good rotors.  I switched to kelvar pads on the 750 and what a huge difference in breaking power.  I have yet to put kelvars on my G.  Been too busy.  I do not know how the are in wet weather.  I now avoid riding in rain.

LOL to both of the above.  40 years ago I would think nothing of riding in the worst weather/snow/sleet/high wind.  After a year of restoring my old bike to showroom condition I am reluctant to sully it up and I guess I have sissified a bit over the years.  The thrill of riding in the rain/foul weather just doesn't have the appeal it used to.  I think the worst feeling I can remember was riding in pouring cold rain and feeling it seep into the crack of my a55.  LOL.
