Shifting problems SOLVED
« on: May 15, 2019, 03:38:51 PM »
Hi there,

I planed the manifold boots and now everything is fine :) thanks to your help :)

The TMR28 are now installed , they work fine but above 80% throttle opening, its like that the machine gets no fuel. Just like someone cut off the engine. By lowering the gas throttle the bike gets power again.

Another problem during the ride Is a shifting Problem especially from the 3th to the 4th and the 4th to the 5th gear.

For example —> pulling the clutch , shifting to the selected gear , loosen the clutch , but I am still in the previous gear. Lowering the shifting lever by foot for just 1-2 mm and the selected gear is in.

What can cause this problem and how can I solve this ?

Greetings from Germany,

Daniel

PS: sorry for my Bad english :(

Changing to a more suitable engine oil for a wet clutch. Diesel engine oil, 15w 40 works well.

Hi there

I figured out that the Return springs are all worn out.
Decided to order new ones.

UPDATE:

The springs were not the problem !!!

It was the STOPPER COMP. SHIFT DRUM (24430 390 010)

Number 11 in the picture

The „wheel“ had a vertical play and was worn out, so there wasn enough „tension“.
Installed a new one and : The machine is shifting so smoothly, a real fun to drive :)
