Anyone familiar with the combined speedo-tach units? Wondering if there’s a place I should lube.

You have to be careful lubing them as too much or storing them upside down can lead to the lube reaching the face and it will stain darker around the needle. If the damper fluid is low you have to open them up to replace the silicone damper fluid in the damper pot. A few drops of a good lubricant that can stay liquid at cold temps can be added in the opening between the moving part and the sleeve.

So there’s no way to lube without opening up the unit?

Correct.
I have had several of these go stupid - pin one or both needles above some random speed/RPM. I did open one to lube the bushings with clock oil. I don't recall them having any silicon damper but it was decades ago, essentially the bushings got dry and seized I think, dragging the needle around and bypassing the eddy current drive. My rim resealing looked like crap but the tach and speedo worked fine (maybe I turned the odo back a bit as well...). I later bought a good used one, also a new one while they were still available.
If the instrument is stored inverted for long the lube does dribble down the needle shafts, staining the face and messing up the glass. I can definitely confirm that.
I haven't seen any at swap meets for 10 years or so. And I do look for them.
