Leak from top end?
« on: July 03, 2019, 02:14:03 PM »
Hey guys. I’ve got a small leak, can’t even see it happen so i’m assuming it’s just a slow weep, on the top end. My assumption is that the gasket went bad, as a lot of the gaskets are taking a dump on this bike. Any other ideas? And if it IS a gasket issue, is it hard to get it swapped out, and what else should be done while the top’s off?

The pic is kind of hard to get, but the top fin right under the ignition lines is the main dirty spot. This is probably 2 weeks of riding, for reference.

Thanks for the help!

Honda CB750. I was kind of wondering if that was where it was coming from, is there an O ring or something in there that I can change out or should I just keep wiping it?

You can get an oem one I do believe. Pop the old one out w a dental type pick and put the new in.

There is a proper seal in there which can be changed in situ if you are lucky and carefull.
