Anyone got a lead on a Honda VT250 ? I've gotta take one apart tomorrow and am working blind esp the stupid Vtwin carbs. :(
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Does anyone have the exploded parts diagram specific to the 1980 CB650 custom? I can't find one for that model.

Thanks

My bike is a 1972 CB750 titled as a 1973.  Which manual do I download?  I selected what I thought was the appropriate one and it took about thirteen minutes to download, not I can't find it.
My first goal is to try to remove the carbureators.  Bike has been sitting inside about ten years.  The Clymer book tells in (2) "disconnect the throttle cables at the link lever"...
The the above manual did load, it did not say anything about the cables.  The throttle twist grip is frozen as of now.  I am in over my head as I think it was President Truman said.
Any info on the manual or sources for help for the greatly challenged is appreciated.
Thanks,
John D

Okay, this IS a really decent thing going here and LOTS of info available. 8)

Now, I've seen some CBX stuff, but don't remember if it was for the 80' or not and I could use some of that, in a service manual. I could also use some Kawasaki GPZ1100 Service manuals as well. I HAVE places to find the Parts info, just don't have the Service manuals for the particulars of these bikes. I DID see some stuff on other GPZ models, but not on the 83' GPZ1100. Also looking for a CB77 Service manual, got access to parts manual on that one as well.

Bet no one has anything on a Jawa250cc model 590! I could use a service manual AND parts as well.

BTW, I am AMAZED at the amount of info that has been shared here, although I don't know WHY I'm amazed, after all, This IS the SOHC4, RIGHT? ;)

If anyone wants a pdf, drop me a line and I'll send a link.
