The cases look pre 73 in the sprocket seal area, check them over, May be even earlier.

Hi all, i'm new to this forum so a quick introduction: I am a 30 year old living in Holland, just recently got into motorcycles but i have some experience working on cars (non-professional). I decided to dive into the deep right away and got my hands on a rustbucket 750K7 with the intention to restore it to factory new. I think it came out pretty decent for a first restoration, but i am looking forward to your opinions  :)

Before:

After:

I have fully documented the entire 8-month restoration and i intend to share it in the project forums later on, once i had time to sort the pictures.

I've posted this pic before, but as it's been 40 years this month since it was taken, I thought it would be appropriate here. ;D

861 Orcutt St, San Luis Obispo, CA. ;D It was an old farm house on the edge of town back then, but it's gone now.  :(

I thought maybe it was SLO, I know you hail from there.  Looks like an old farm in Napa we built senior apartments on the farm and the local historic society made them keep the farm house and water tower. It was pretty cool, they made 6 units in the house and the tower had the grounds keeper's office in the tank. The lower portion was his shop/lawn mower garage.

90% stock K7. The 750A wheels make a huge difference. Stock exhaust was rusty junk. This 4 into 1 weighs a little more than just one original pipe.

I often wonder how a motorcycle gets to be in the "before" condition. There are probably some interesting stories behind these bikes. Lucky for us, there are still SOHC's out there that need a good home
