Very special people and we owe them a debt that can never really be paid in full. God bless them all!

I've been following the C47's flying over for the honor flights. Some are staying for the Berlin airlift memorial too. I saw video of 13 together, I had heard there may be 38 total, a few were restored to flight status just for today.
I had Uncles and other relatives there. None would really talk about it. One uncle was 82nd airborne and at a family gathering he gave a free day to ask anything, he told of liberating the camps, walking skeletons, piles of bodies, lampshades made of people. And he never spoke of it again. My mother told me it's important to remember and tell people.
