Neither have I and dont like the way it looks mounted on the bike.

It is very awkward. I suppose if the bike had a Rickman type fairing with the matching lower so the hoses were hidden it would be ok, but with an exposed engine it just looks messy.

Any idea where the “return” line hooks in? Kind of odd to take oil from the main supply gallery.....

Taking oil from the main gallery is insane. Quick way to smoke a set of main bearings. Looks like the return is the rear case vent. Worst Odessa I've seen in a while.

It can't really do anything. Replace it with an oil gauge which will probably cool the oil just as much.

It sticks in there about 3 inches, it gets pretty warm.

My concern would be how disruptive to the oil flow would those 3" be. It's at best IMO a conversation piece.

Pretty cool though. Interesting design. But if I were going to try something like that i'd just fit a regular square shaped oil cooler from something else. Can't imagine that surface area does much of anything.

 It's like the trans coolers they sold for street rods, designed to hide in or behind the C frame.

 The commander's oil cooler is interesting, like the finned rocker cover caps. In theory they should work even if just a little.
