CB 400f

Just had my CB 400f bored out 1mm. Do I use a stock gasket or is there somewhere I can order a gasket for a 1mm overbore? i am new to this site.yetrt

You use the stock gasket, it can accommodate up to 1.0mm overbore.

thank you for the information on the cb400f gasket. it is difficult trying to rebuild my bike here in Honolulu. parts bikes are non existant and finding a competant information source locally is impossible. There is only one other cb400f in Honolulu that i know of.

Maui is difficult too, I put my K3 together with a lot of parts from all over, lots of shipping costs.
Yamiya 750 has a lot of 400f stuff, it's their other bike they specialize in.
Love to see your 400f if I'm over there.

aloha MauiK3 , my 400f is in rough shape, aim to get it running then work on cosmetics. i have a decent set of carbs but want them rebuilt before trying to start the engine . the carbs are all original with all stock size kiehan jets. I will probably ship them off for rebuild as noone here wants to even look at them. bike has 58,000 miles on it so there is a lot of work to be done.
