two years or so in the making, here she is. More to come soon. I'm working on finishing and upholstering the (wooden!) seatpan now, and after that she's ready to ride.
I've spent these past ____hours....
-fully rebuilding the engine. All new valves, bearings, gaskets, etc.
-stripping the frame, modifying the back end a bit, generally cleaning things up. New exhaust and licence plate bracketry. Then had the whole shebang powdercoated
-doing some bodywork and painting. Still waiting on a a (pink!) pinstripe and a pair of white 73s on the side covers, courtesy of a sign painter friend
-replacing wheel bearings, and swing arm bushings with needle bearings.
-rewiring and adding LED lighting
-fabricating a new stainless exhaust
-making and upholstering a wooden seatpan to fit the modified frame
