Kick and a Pop - '76 cb750
« on: June 21, 2019, 10:37:52 AM »
So I went to Kickstart my bike, still working on getting it started, but the kick locked up and there was a pop. The engine did not seize. I tried to kick it over again and it happened again after turning the engine over slowly a couple times.

Thoughts?

If it's misfiring thanks to the wasted spark ignition system it can fire on the wrong stroke, resulting in a pop
In the UK anything over 40 years old only needs insurance and Fuel.

Reverse your blue and yellow wires you’re 180 degrees out of phase
