Hello,  hello,

I've lurked on these forums a bit,  in my research for the bike I bought,    I live in Harlem, in New York City,   bought a 1978  CB 750.   new to motorcycles (used to dick around on dirt bikes as a teenager,  but that was many moons ago) but,  I've always been the sort that loves to take things apart and know how they work,   So... an old bike (that came with 2 nearly complete parts motors)  seemed like a good project bike.

Not sure if I'll try and hipster chopper/cafe racer it up.  Or keep it fairly stock,  but it does need a bit of love.

Looking forward to joining this community and learning a lot more.

cheers

Veritas,

Same as you, I'd frequent this forum, but never posted.  There's so much information to help us restore our bikes!.\
I'm 1973 CB 500, and I'm thinking to keep the OEM look. The classic still looks good.

Welcome from NE MN,

Get the bike running and ride it a while.  It will give you a better understanding of its potential.  Ancestors lived in Harlem during the 1600s.
