This may sound like a familiar tune:
Had the kickstand down halfway and leaned the bike down on the left side, bending not only my rearset gear shift pedal but now possibly bending the shift fork inside the case.
1st gear now lurches/jerks - mainly from idle but does not lurch upon deceleration.
I purchased a set of shift forks on eBay with this picture as reference and realized later that there may be signs of wear or slight bends in these forks as well.
What are some other things to look out for while I would have the case open? I’ll also look out for obvious gouges in the shift drum. Anything else?
