What is a low miles 750F2 head worth?

I have the spare K motor but really would like to preserve the F motor if I can.

So a fellow on ebay has a low miles F head that he wants $150 for. With the cam and
valves but it still seems high to me.

I have a 78 f3 head with 12,000 miles if you want it. I have the cam and valves/retainers. $50 its yours. No springs, rockers, etc. will need new exhaust guides. let me know.
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

I spent several times that re-doing mine.  (Well, a little porting, too)

150 too much? not really, especially if the engine is complete. I have seen people trying to sell stock engines in average shape for $600.

...he said a head...not a complete motor...even if it it was a complete motor i'd be on the fence.  paid 50 for the last motor i bought, and that was on ebay.  backyard find is more of a i'll come get it if u give it to me...   ;)

Ahh missed that part. I dont know where you find motors on ebay for that though. All the ones I see go for more than that.

...not saying they are out there every day, but they'll go for under 100 quite often.  alot depends on location...they seem to be higher in the southeast.  saw one go for 99 cents in colorado once... :o

Hey Robert, Where did you get the seat that is on your bike? Just modified stock? Looks great! I have my 78 f seat off right now and someone butchered up the foam and I plan on doing something like what you have.
