Carb pictures
« on: June 26, 2019, 07:18:07 AM »
I’ve got my carb bodies cleaned and rebuild kits in. I started reassembling them last night. I had taken a lot of pictures, or so I thought. I’m finding there is still a lot left to the imagination. Example, which way to flip the float needle. Or at least I think that’s what it’s called.

In any case, I’m finding my Clymer manual lacking. The breakdown looks like an old blue print that has been Xerox copied and that copy copied.  Very hard to make out small details.

In short does anyone know of a good picture of a carb breakdown for a CB550F 1977?

Thanks.

No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I'm not sure if it has all the detail you need but the image in the Haynes manual is the clearest one I've seen so far....If I remember tonight I will take a picture of it and post it here.

Thanks all. The link will be great when I re-rack them.

How do I get access to Hondaman’s book?

Thanks rosewood, I’ll see if I can’t get access to a Haynes manual.

Not cheap, but worth every penny if you really want to get to know these bikes.
