You post that you tried to hotdawg it around a turn and fell - and you want sympanthy ?
Your the fool for doing it (and posting it) plain and simple. Glad to hear you didnt get physcially hurt, but u are still a fool..You think I (or anyone else on this board) is gonna give sympanthy to some punk kid who falls over trying to do a 12 foot stoppie on his Busa ? Not so much...

With every post you just prove to me and others what a "master builder" you are...

Being a newbie is hard JP, but in your defense I must quote post number 6, early on in the first page.....

And I know you are right Heffay, I shouldn't have even been trying this stuff on that bike.

We all make mistakes and some can cost lives, but theres an old saying ..*A lesson is learnt every day, what we do with it is the key*.
I think youve been berated enough already without adding more, Im sure youve learnt your lesson.

I hope you got to see the movie.

I'll say it again JP, If I had the pro gear, I'd have done the same thing. Just to say I tryed. I don't recall anyone else saying they've done it? I may have missed it in the 6 pages of bs!!
Hey Kghost, if you eat it in a wheelie, I still think you look cool!!!!

Derek, you're such a gentleman.  Must be the image you're cultivating to go with that new project.  When does it arrive?

This is way off topic, but I need to ask for Forum advice;
I want to put up a post that says,
"I WAS FINALLY SUCCESSFUL AT WHACKING MY HEAD WITH A HAMMER!  I PUT MYSELF IN A COMA, BUT I THINK IT'S THE HAMMER'S FAULT; should I have used a lighter hammer, or a flatter one?"

Is there any way I can work motorcycles into that?

Ernie, the problem is not with the hammer, but with the handle. Let me guess, was it a wooden handle? You should have used a fiberglass handle.

I beg to differ, you should have used the one hanging next to it with the rubber head.

Wisdom is knowing when to stop kicking a dead horse....the pleasure is somewhat dimmed....it then becomes empty words

The last thought has been lingering for a while, and I am really sort of depressed about it.  You see, I got into these bikes for the soul purpose of slowing me down.  I figured that the switch to older, slower bikes would eventually save my life- and this may very well be true.  However, when the skill of the rider out weighs the ability of the bike, well, the fun meter starts to go down drastically.

Seems to me, it just taught you one of life's most valuable lessons!   ;)
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

Unkle, in order to succeed effectively in your task.  A 'dead blow' hammer use you must, it is with that complete your task will be.

Reading this whole post brought back memories of my little brother crashing and dying in 1985 on his bike. It got me thinking about how everybody on this forum reacts to what others do (I've been guilty too and will probably be again). In this case........I think good ole Clint said it best.........A mans gotta know his limitations.......

Sorry, falling off does not count as successful knee dragging. Success is when you drag your knee and still get the bike back upright.

Mr Breeze I'm sorry to hear of your younger brother, funny how some things remind us and bring things back to the fore...every person should know their limitations, I so agree with that, but it only needs to be told once and with a sincerity of conviction which in a few words youve managed to convey.......we all do things when we are young and not one of us here cannot say we have not done something stupid or have regrets, it would be a lie.  Im sure it didnt need 90 odd posts of some pretty harsh things to make this young man feel bad and a newbie at that, sometimes people just want to share everything , even their mistakes.....no matter their motives.....repetitive harsh remarks only makes a young person feel bitter and resentful...and perhaps he just wanted to be a part of this forum....as many older and experienced men hang here....we all need guidance at times in a constructive form. Maybe Im just seeing this in a womans way, which isnt always a bad thing...it creates balance.
