Ball bearing size for kill switch
« on: July 03, 2019, 11:14:57 AM »
My kill switch is "sloppy" and turns off when I bump it with my hand. I haven't opened it up yet, but I suspect the ball bearing has shifted out of position or is no longer in there. Before I open it up as my winter project later this year, I thought I would get a ball bearing just in case it's gone, so I'm not waiting. Anybody know the diameter? eBay has lots of cheap loose ball bearings out there if I know the size.

Mine, with the later near round kill switch measures up as 0.123" on my cheap caliper.

So very close to 1/8" or 3.1 mm. The metric sets seem to go in whole mm so 1/8" might be the best bet. Thanks so much for measuring!
