side link arm gasket
« on: July 06, 2019, 07:01:24 AM »
Hello,

I recently purchased a 1973 cb350f and have started replacing parts.  There is a gasket that goes with the side link arm between carbs 1 and 2 that I need to replace.  I have searched all over and cannot find one online.  If anyone has any info of where I can purchase this I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks,
Bob

Well, I did some digging and it appears this came as a set, #13 in the diagram, as a Carb Adjuster Holder Set A (for anyone interested).  Part number for the whole set is 16029-323-004, but is now unavailable unless I want to pay $155 for the whole set on ebay.  Would anyone know if this gasket is needed and/or what function it provides??

Thanks

It keeps dirt out of the linkage, Lowes has rubber sheet in plumbing, make a gasket.
