I like it, Derek.  It's calling you.

What are ya gonna do on that little island with all those bikes?   ;D

Some of you may remember a friend of mine on the Island bought a tracy 750 for a build a few weeks ago.
Now we will have our very own "750 Tracy build off on our little Island"

What are the chances of even seeing one of these bikes on the road, let alone 2 recently custom builds ;D ;D

Can't wait.
Oh here is the one he is starting on. (with my fairing)..might have to get that back!

Webby, the motor with no top end will be a K,...the complete motor, being black could be an F.
Isn't there a thread in FAq to compare the engine numbers ?

Someone went to a fair amount of trouble to dress up/paint up that motor. Looks like wrinkle paint, not stock black paint. It was probably painted when it was apart. If apart it might have some goodies in it. I see the 75/76 F header but that could've come from any bike. We need the serial number to see what engine it started out as.

So, the guy in NB has a commercial account with a Company called Day & Ross Inc.   http://wwwdayandrossinc.ca

He is shipping this bike across Canada coast to coast to me at a rate of $359.85 cdn

He has shipped the other bikes he has sold to the companies depots in major cities for customer COD PU, but they don't have one close to me so I asked the local HONDA DEALERSHIP to take delivery for me.  They said sure. Now I know a lot of you guys can't even get your dealer to look at you seriously, so I realise I am quite blessed with the outcome.

I had gone on line and found a few other shipping companies and the lowest I found was $900.00 the highest was over $1500.00    Christ what's the deal with that ???

I hear ya.
I just had a transmission shipped from California to Missouri for the old Benz.
USPS, UPS AND FEDEX wouldn`t touch it and I got quotes from freight handlers starting at $300 all the way to $600. someone told me to try DHL and sure enough they said no problem, it was sitting at my barn door 4 days later for $125 smackeroos.

By the way Seaweb.....I HATE YOU..in a friendly sort of way ;D
I had a chance to buy one one back in the old country in the early `80s but the wife wanted an old Sporty to ride. Haha, bought the Sportster and she found out she didn`t have enough lead in the britches to kick it over.

Hey CrisPDuk, you're making me feel old.  But it isn't early 80's.  It's early 70's.  Here is a pic of the Tracy bodied 750 I had in 1972.  The problem with the Tracy is that you have to find a gas station every 50 or 60 miles.  If I remember correctly, it held 1.2 gallons.
