seaweb, are those standard clubmans your using?  I've heard of wider clubmans out there, just wondering.  Also, where did you get your gauges?  They look great!

How on earth did I ever miss this post.....just spent my lunch hour burning through it.

RIDICULOUS !!  And I mean that in the most admirable way... That is going to be a killler bike.  Can't wait to see it finished.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Seaweb if those pipes are anything like the other parts I have gotten from YAMIYA you will just fine on fit and finish.  Have you got them in you hands yet, what do you think?  I just wish we could get baselines on performance increases offered on a stock bike (I would like to see the differences listed between several brands, especially the Yosh knock off and X-pipe).  I can not wait to hear the beast, when do you think you will have everything buttoned up?

If I remember correctly...........it's been a while.......CycleX for the gauges. The bars .......can't remember where I got them. Perhaps I wrote it down somewhere on this build thread?

No it was just shipped from JP yesterday.

P.S. This is not a stock engine "836cc", cam, lightened rotor, etc.  so my results may not help you.

Just wondering a couple things about the frame kit that was mentioned in this thread...

1. Does Gordon still make and sell them?
2. What is the benefit of it? Being able to remove the head with the engine in frame?

I loved following your engine build and felt your pain with the problems you had early in the rebuild.  My thought was it would be interesting to know what gains were made with a stock bike so we could measure apples to apples between different exhaust brands.

Cliff, you are always welcome.

Just give me an hour to get the wood stove lit so we can have a warm visit ;D

I do need an extra set of hands to get a couple of wheels on it and roll it over to the new building ;D ;D  Frame is sitting on the bike bench flat with no wheels, although I have 2 c/w rubber here. Just need a bit of balance lift help to get the wheels on.

when ya comin ???

Hi Derek!
It will have to be later in January. I'm in the middle of cataract surgery. I've had the left eye done last month but they have to improve my vision with a piggyback lens in my left eye on Wednesday and then do my right eye in January. The one on Weds. will tall the tale. It's supposed to take me from coke bottle bottoms (-8) to good vision (-0.25). First time since I was 7 that I won't need corrective lens. Yahoo! And colours will be what they're supposed to be again.
Cliff.

Nice to see the new garage actually getting some work done inside! That scooter is going to be bad ass to say the least! Well done on both projects!
