Being color blind makes the last bit quite frustrating :P

Ha ha!  I know that feeling!

This is why I taught my wife how to do wiring work years ago.

I will drag Kathleen into the garage when I get a bit close.

She is usually up to assist in disconnecting my brown/green and orange/yellow connections and sorting it out;D

Well Derek..........as I've mentioned before....I am also color blind.
Back in 1974 at the ripe age of 17,I joined the Navy with intentions of becoming an Aviation Mechanic. After my physical and a very thorough color blindness test,I was not suitable for that trade and settled for Hull Technician. Jeeeeeez............... I guess they didn't want me wiring up their $$$MMMM aircraft!!!!!!!!
Anyways............it is a handicap but knowing your way around an ohm meter or continuity light is a good thing.Hurry up and take your trip so you can get back and start getting that bad boy going!!!!! Summers gonna be here quicker than you might think!!!

Some of you may remember a friend of mine on the Island bought a tracy 750 for a build a few weeks ago.
Now we will have our very own "750 Tracy build off on our little Island"

What are the chances of even seeing one of these bikes on the road, let alone 2 recently custom builds ;D ;D

Can't wait.
Oh here is the one he is starting on. (with my fairing)..might have to get that back!
So what became of this dude's project?

Back at it again.
Looking to order my twin brake lines. I have decided to use the male/male adaptor to the calipers and avoid the stock hard lines.

I realize the norm would be to pull the brake lines back in between the fork and loop them up, but I think with my new fender it would be a tight squeeze. Anyone see a problem with running both new  lines up the way I have them draped across the stock splitter/switch?

Looks a bit...........?

Anyone care to put up a photo of your dual aftermarket brake line routing?

You are not turning your calipers bacK?

Do you still need a stoplite bracket, I squeeze past a dead 74 everyday to get in the shop, I think is on there..

Still looking it over.  Not real happy with how this looks. Seems I would just turn forks around to reverse calipers.

Yes I do still need a rear brake switch bracket.

I will look for  the stoplite bracket.

Your front fender, is it the Interceptor style? They are a tough fit to that type of fork. Bwaller made some nice mounts for his.

I have the same type fender here, was looking at it. It looks like you could make a 2pce billet clamp to the fork, with one side(inside) going up to fender. But it has a lot of rise on the inside. Next problem is it has to fit over your boots. , I think though, if youdid it right you could run an F style dust seal for a far cleaner look.. be pricy but cool..& clean looking..

If you put your calipers on the back, and come out of the top of each with the straight adapter in your picture, you will have the shortest cleanest run of brake hoses. With the forks fully extended at rest, the brake lines are virtually straight between the lower tree and the top of each caliper, and hug close to the tubes. I've done this.

If I'd paid more attention the brakelines could have been shorter. Also, you could bypass the junction block altogether and take both lines up to the master cylinder and have one double banjo bolt there. With a switch in the MC, you could do away with the junction block. Lots of alternatives.

I'm hoping to get a telefix fork brace like bigfootball (?), which arcs up over the tire,  and hang my fender from it, cutting off the tabs that drop down on either side. The stock fork brace/fender bracket while not as stout, may be perfectly fine to do the same thing.

Just some thoughts.

Hey, I just hit on a great idea to fit those style fenders, and help brace the fork, I will take a good look, see if I can pull it off.

I'm open. Want to mount this on a K0-K1 fork.

I was think of the kind like the chrome Tracy has with the Aluminum brace over the top.

To mount yours would be easier, if it did not need to brace fork, even cheaper, as it could be  made of 1 piece and pressed onto top of fok.. bad part about 1 pce is frk must be pulled off.

I didn't catch that on Seawebs fender, the flat bracket across the top.

I would like to brace the fork, but I don't want to hijack the thread, if my fender is different. I'll start a thread elsewhere when I get closer to the need. Thanks.
