I liked that one, a cycle world substitute is better than my Drag Racer mag that ceased and switched me to Diesel Truck!

I think Motorcyclist and Cycle World eventually were owned by the same companies. I used to get both and started seeing the same tests etc. in both issues. Cycle World switched to a quarterly issue just about the time I bought a subscription for the poor fella on the forum who had the terrible accident Trevor. I was hoping he would get one every month, not every three  ::)  It turned into a glossy coffee table mag more about fitness and other junk then actually testing bikes and products. I did not renew.
If you want to have fun track down some old vintage bike mags from the 70's-80's when they actually tested the bikes and not just Ducati's,tore them down to show you the guts and had lots of readers letters and other fun stuff.  Another thing that the internet killed along with Playboy and other print media.

Printed media is nearly dead.  I no longer have any subscriptions for magazines or newspaper.

Nearly everything is available online ...

I got the same postcard.  Dropped my subscription the Cycle World for the same reason as others.  Also Hot Bike stopped publishing.

I had stacks and stacks of motorcycle mags from the 70's. My mom was cleaning out my room many years ago and I remember her asking if I wanted them. I had other priority's at that time and didn't really see the need to keep any of them ::) Now 40 years later I would love to be able to sit down and look through and read all of them.

A few days ago I got a notice in the mail about a class action lawsuit against the publisher of Motorcyclist magazine and others.  They allegedly disclosed subscriber information to 3rd parties in violation of Michigan law.  Will see what happens in a possible settlement.
