Hey All - Joining the Club - 1980 CB650

Hey All:

- New to riding and the site. I just purchased a CB650 that was for sale here in Wisconsin (near FDL). I've attached a photo.

- First bike, everything is running smoothly and I've started tinkering with the basics, but I'd be happy to read any pointers for keeping a nearly 40 y.o. bike on the road for a long time.

If it is running and safe you can take your time on restoring -- at least try to stretch out the big operations until next winter.

Nice ride!  Welcome from southern Wisconsin. I'm new to the cb650, as well, having just taken on an '81 project that is in not nearly as nice condition. Enjoy the ride!
