Well Terry......I tried it.....some jack ass trying to sell dish TV and even gettin in my face after I told him I was happy with cable. I told him.....Oh!!! hang on...I'll be right back......Of course I just set the phone down and got back on the computer! I wonder how long he waited???? Who cares???? You're right.....that was fun!!!!!!!

Oh my word, Burmashave, I just used this counterscript on a telemarketer, it was hilarious!  He opened right up and started talking.  I don't think he knew what hit him!!!
He was apprehensive at the first question "how do I spell your name" but I just moved on in the easy to follow script.  It was a hoot!  I had total control over the conversation!  :D He makes $9.75/hour occasionally bothering someone like me! Doesn't like his job, uses Colgate Total toothpaste, what a riot! :D ;D :D

I'm thinking they mean the easter holidays...they already have eggs and hot cross buns all over our supermarket shelves.... :-\....commercialism sux

I believe the holiday in question refers to my upcoming birthday.
They like me. ;D

I usually just tell telemaketers I don't have no money me. They quickly hang up.
