In many areas the SARs-CoV-2/COVID-19 virus numbers are peaking due to the efforts taken to reduce the spread of the virus. This is good. Other areas have not been so lucky and their numbers are trending upwards. All we can do is pray for those affected and for all those whom are supporting the population in critical roles supporting daily life or the active fight carrying for those afflicted by the virus.
Stay safe and respect this virus as a real killer, if not for yourself for someone else.

I look forward to meeting a bunch of people this fall in NC for this reunion. Stay safe and remain healthy if at possible.

Happy Easter for those amongst us who celebrate this holiday.

Yeah, that is some scary stuff...

Fortunately I am over 110-120 pounds lighter than those photos now.
Was fun hanging out that day and I enjoyed being a part of that day's experience.

How is Justin these days and is Shawn still riding an SOHC4?

The reason I remember it was Easter was due to the heavy traffic we encountered as we got to the Phoenix area; I would have expected it to be much lighter at that time of day. Shawn's tail light wasn't working, and I was trying my best to follow him close enough with the truck and trailer to keep anyone from cutting in front of me and taking him out, without rear ending him, plus if I lost him in traffic I had no idea where I was.

I think Shawn sold his 750 a year or two after that?? IIRC, he paid $300 for it, and it had been parked under a tree for years when he found it.

Justin still checks in here on SOHC from time to time. If IIRC, his was driving a truck then, and switched to being a gentleman farmer; I believe it was Stev-o that gave him the nickname of Justafarmer??

Saw that the Blue Ridge Parkway was shutting down more areas to limit usage to enforce social distancing and stay at he orders.

Well all I have given this much thought and I am going to pull out for 2020. I just cannot risk riding across country and an outbreak occur or me being in so many places just to get there. My plan is to scrap Blue Ridge highway for 2020. And look to do that ride in 2021 or 2022 at the latest. I am looking forward to seeing the pics with all of you there but Dash and I will have to watch from the sidelines. $:-\$

I will join you on the parkway when you do decide to go there, we can meet in Cherokee and ride the entire length and continue on to the Skyline Highway at the end

We aren't even drag racing. But that's OK, because the car is still not right. I cancelled our 40th anniversary car cruise because it brings a few thousand folks to town. I won't make it there again, barring some sort of miracle.

I am going to have to bow out too. Dr is telling me I need to have my right hip replaced and recovery is going to take a couple months plus the expenses of the surgery and PT are going to make things too tight.
