CB750 Petcock Question on a New Tank
« on: July 17, 2019, 03:35:13 PM »
So my tank and side covers arrive from YAMIYA in Japan, tomorrow. I ordered for the tank:

New Fuel/Gas tank cap and lock

Petcock

Petcock Screen

Petcock Screws.

Do I even need the petcock screen (the gold bit in the photo below) or the gasket in the top left hand corner? Or are those only used when REBUILDING a petcock?

What am I missing to get this tank fully functional and fuel-flowing?

If your petcock comes fully loaded then it should be bolt and go. If not you will need to add those pieces to a stock oem petcock.  Be like Christmas in July for you Thursday !

Dude, just pick a thread and stick with it.  This is now the 3rd one you've started about swapping your tank.
