A mate of mine he in Australia has bought a Harley Electra Glide which is in Miami - can anyone recommend a reputable company that collects and stores vehicles. It needs to be stored from now till close to the time Sturgis is on.

Don't know any but you're going to urgently need a climate controlled storage unit or it will be a pile of corrosion by (August?) as thre humidity tends to be pretty high there( It is a swamp after all ;D)
I'm not sure if you could rent a storage unit if the bike has gas in it.
About all the help I can give you, sorry.

My dad had a bike put into storage by an antique car storage company.  It was expensive!  But so was the bike.

Fly me to Miami. I'll check out the worthiness of the bike by riding it to a buddy's place in Brandon (outside Tampa) and leave it there for him. That is after I leave Daytona Bike Week. Been looking for an excuse to get back to Daytona since I blew up my lovely Candy Sapphire Blue 75 750F on A1A back in 1976 blowing the carbon out to take on a 900 Cow. Missed 2nd on a power shift. Just don't like to let off the throttle! I can handle the Glide considering I also have a Fat Boy. I'll pack my bags and be ready!  ;) ::)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
