Bike is a 750K0. Trying to reattach headlight wiring after having headlight bucket repainted. So far, all but TWO WIRES are attached and all electrics work: frt and rr winkers; hand and foot-activated brake light; headlight hi and lo beam; electric starter; ignition switch positions (off/ign/park light); speedo/tach lights; beam, flasher, oil, and neutral jewels. RH switchgear includes off/low/hi beam switch, starter button, ignition cut off switch. LH switchgear includes left and right turn switch and horn button. With engine off and ign switch in start position, everything works. Bike not running yet, but I'm not sure it would have any effect on functionality.
In the headlight bucket, the TWO WIRES in question both come out of the main harness. One is a single solid brown with a sgl female connector, and the other is a single br/wh with a triple female connector. These are visible in the attached photo at approx 6 o'clock on the bucket. Also shown is a multi br/wh connector a little left and up from there, with one open female connector.
I think from other posts that Honda included the single solid brown wire, but it was only used on non-US bikes that had a pilot light(?).
More concerned about the two br/wh multi connectors. they both have one open female connectors, so I was wondering if they should be connected to each other? I have the color wiring diagram for a 69 - 70 CB750K0 available on this forum.
