'77 Cb750 exhaust studs
« on: August 23, 2019, 10:32:01 pm »
During my rebuild, I've decided to replace the old rusty engine exhaust studs. But the new ones are a bit longer on one end than the other with the smooth center piece. Can anyone comment on which end the shorter end or longer end goes into the head?

Thanks!

Normaly short end goes into "static" part and wound in till unthreaded part locks stud in

ok so what I think you said is that the short end goes into the head? long end out for the exhaust flanges to attach to?

Yup and make sure they screw into the head tight
