Do you still have the lowering brackets?  Do you want to sell them?

Paint looks really good, congrats!!! Will you go back and reclear over the decal or leave it alone?

I plan to clear over the decals. I’m of the mindset that it never hurts to have a little extra clear on a motorcycle tank.

You cleared over the decals on the blue tank you just did right? Btw you did an awesome job on!

Ya I still have them. I’m in Canada so shipping might be a little bit. PM me if you are still interested.

Well it’s been on hold for a while for house Reno’s but I haven’t forgotten about all the work I put in so far so I’m forging ahead to get this thing roadworthy again.
Pictures seem to tell the story fairly well:
New plug caps

Before and after fresh paint on the top triple clamp

Mid progress shot of lengthening out/repairing my battery box to fit a slightly bigger battery. Fun little welding project.

New air box boots

Installed

New phenolic brake piston from Godfrey

New seal and piston installed

Swapped out the bent and rusted chrome bars for some aluminum tracker style flat ones. Time will tell if they are too low for longer rides

Ordered some tank badges direct from Honda. Surprised that my local
Honda dealership could get these NOS for an impressive price.

I was pretty nervous bending them to match the tank profile!!

New chain

New front and rear tires installed and balanced. The rear was a real bear to get spooned on but I got it. Shinko 712’s. I’ll likely change to a better tire once I wear these out.

I was all set to get plates and ride the thing after a crazy summer work schedule but then someone at the shop knocked the damn thing over and it busted the generator cover >:( thanks to whoever that was.
So that explains the oil stain on the floor. I guess I learned my lesson and keep the front wheel tied to a wheel chock now. I clearly need a better place to store this thing.
Took make a bit but I found a used cover and cut myself a new gasket for it. Installed and no leaks so far.

So that catches me up. Fired it up and it’s charging and all working as it should. Now I just need to get some time to ride it! I have ~3-4 weeks of riding season left if I’m lucky.
