Motogpwerks exhaust
« on: September 11, 2019, 11:33:54 AM »
Hi Guys ,
I just finished the last batch off Cb550 $525 ,most were pre sold but i made a couple in case I missed someone
The new version is really a big bore pipe (I suppose) the last version was a stepped design but people didn't like having a weld half way down the pipe so a bit off testing on my own cb550 I came up with this.
Due to to many other things happening here at my shop I thing this is it ,If i do any more they will be full merge collectors and maybe in titainum so easy over $1000.
I have been working on my own suspension company (american racing suspension) with 41mm forks package and monoblock twin shocks ,On top off that I am 65% through building a production bike (brake calipers ,brake rotors, frame, swingarm, bodywork, crank, camshafts ....) all made in house .Also I have been at Cal sate fullerton (every-night ) fopr the past 2.5 years getting my masters.
So its been Busy...

Those are really pretty! Adjustable damper too at the base of the spring? I have some Wilber’s on my Beemer and they’re outstanding in their adjustability. Yours look similar in functionality.

Very nice exhaust. Just think what a stainless replica 4 into 4 would look like!

I messaged him a few months ago and said he didn’t have anyone interested in these and wasn’t making any. I guess there was interest since I messaged him. Can oil be changed with these on? Also wondering just by looking at the picture these aren’t all square with each other so would that be a problem or will they flex straight or are the exhaust ports angled slightly? Last question are these $525 shipped in the USA? Thanks  ;D

This is the style I like on a 750, nice and shorter but tucked in well too.

I'm interested in those shocks...    Any sort of timeline or price on those beauties ?      I have one of your pipes and one of your swingers on my 750 - might as well keep adding your handiwork to it.
What are the eye to eye measurements ?    I'd actually like to raise the back of my bike slightly
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

I did make some at one time ,but how many would pay $1800 for a set ...and i would have to build at least 7x to cover the jigs

I try and not post anything that's not 100%,Yes the exhaust ports look like they are angled in.No they will not straighten due to heat process so i don't think  these will fit your model off Cb500-550...goodluck maybe try chinese brand they might have better quailty control

Darn it Chris I just bought some Hagons but I knew when I drug this project home years ago that I only wanted your exhaust. Shocks look exceptional. I’ll keep an eye out for when you feel they are good to go. Thanks for making rad stuff man!
