One, my brother bought new in 74. I still haven't sent in the title. I'll need to do research on the others. lol.

I’ve owned my CB750K1 since Jan 19 1971 and my CBX1000 six since August 1978, Repsol Fireblade 1000 superbike since 2005, a CB1100 retro since 2013, a Fireblade SP since 2017 and my Goldwing DCT since July 2018 all of which I bought new, there are others eg a 2nd hand VTR1000SP a 1973 SS50,  and finally a 1962 CB77, I’m addicted is an understatement

Just getting back into the moto madness about 4 years back.. because I needed a hobby! LOL   These " Vintage " bikes are fun.   2013 Cb 1100 new in 2015 , 73 Cb 500 Four  , barn save  grabbed it in 2016. 72 Cb 500 Custom 6 month built in 2017 .
  1982 Cb650 Sc . barn save 1050 original miles  fall 2018 .  I see a pattern developing.

I still have my 65 CL72 (250 scrambler) in very bad shape since 1966. That would be 53 years, some day it may be a rider again. At least that is my dream. Bought it for $352 when I was 14. It was my 2nd bike and also my 2nd Honda.

I can't look at it because it makes me sad that I let it rot like I did.😢😭

nice bike but how do you keep it stock looking for that long ?

when i got my first K2 750 in '90 it lasted a whole half hour until i got it home.....front guard off - chopped and painted, changed the taillight , got rid of the indicators, sprayed it matt black ( it was BROWN....), pulled the seat cover and replaced with a calf skin, mirrors changed...and that was just the first day

my vmax i've owned for over 10 years now i guess, that lasted a couple of weeks before i started changing stuff on it, theres a few untouched bits left on it now...

the zzr i got off terry a few months ago will be stock in performance but its getting green braided lines, levers, bolt kit and a satin black/kawasaki green paint job, i can't leave things alone

even my turntables got a sticker job within half an hour of getting them out of the boxes

i had a helmet that was getting to the end of its use by date so i peeled all the stickers off that i'd put on and gave it a 'rust' paint job complete with bubbling and flaking, also did one in glo-in-the-dark paint, didn't show up until it was dark and then it looked like a glowing alien head atop a black clad body
i blame Terry

Honda_dog...... Love that K8! The K7/8 models are truly under valued. My K8 was my first CB750 and I still think it’s the best, all- day rider. A few years ago, I added a K7 (pictured), great bikes. Best looking pipes too. Enjoy!

My wife purchased my current 750 "basket case" for me in early 2001, if I remember correctly.  So 18 years.

I originally had a 74, purchased used in 1975, but that one slipped away.   :(

10 years or so I'm guessing. It all started when an older brother of mine gave my son a 73 cb350 twin. My son and I went to someone's house nearby that had a bunch of old bikes and we were looking for parts, that's when I laid eyes on a thoroughly neglected 75 cb550 and I just had to have it. After bringing it back from the dead (literally) I sold it a few years later when I got my 77 F2. Along with it I now have a 71 cb350 twin, 75 cb400-4 and a 83 GL1100. Some people have asked what it is about Honda's that I prefer them, it's nothing really, it's just how it has worked out.

Good job!

My current 750K2 arrived in my hands 2/72 (over 47 years, now).
My (2nd) wife has said (many times) it should have been on the altar with us in the wedding.

But, I had it before the first wife, too. :D

Of course I had a half dozen or so Honda's back in the 70's the largest being a 1976 CB550. Didn't hold on to any of them :( and it wasn't until 2009 when I got my very first 750, a garnet red K6 8)  Here's a pic when it still had the 4 into 1 Mac pipe on it. Now I have a set of 341's on it that I got from a forum member.

I've had these SOHC/4s for several years, 2007, I think, and the more I touch them the worse they run.

I'm just old , fat, and ugly azz lazy.

Always a reason not to mess with them.....too cold.....too hot in the garage. Lately, it's been too tired after work.

Just this 750 the only tagged and insured at the moment, runs beautiful one day, the next, won't even sputter.

But........one of these days................one of these days.
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

1975 CB550K since 1992, and 1973 CB350F since 1997. The former in Seattle at my dad's place so I have something to ride when I go home, the latter with me in Mexico City. Probably had another 30 or so pass through my hands since '92, but tose two are the keepers.
