I started "collecting" SOHC's about 10 years ago, so not that long.

I got my K1 in May '71, so I have had it 48 years 4 months.
The CB has an 11/70 build date so that makes it 48 years 10 months old.

I got an SL100 in the fall of '70. I gave it to my nephews about '90.

First bike was a Candy Blue Green K0. I rode it as much as I could in the summer of '70.
Sold it in the fall of '70 after the boss told me that the improved K1 would be out soon.

Bought my 1966 CL77 in 2007, just sold it to a dealership in Utah.
Picked up my 1978 CB750K in 2015 (I think) and have no plans to unload it...I like it too much.

Forty-two years; I bought my K5 in 1977 as a "wrecked bike" from a dealer who'd picked it up from an insurance company. This many years later the bike is running stronger than I am. Photos are from then and now.

I've had these SOHC/4s for several years, 2007, I think, and the more I touch them the worse they run.

I'm just old , fat, and ugly azz lazy.

Always a reason not to mess with them.....too cold.....too hot in the garage. Lately, it's been too tired after work.

Just this 750 the only tagged and insured at the moment, runs beautiful one day, the next, won't even sputter.

But........one of these days................one of these days.

For occasional-use riding, try the X22ES-U sparkplugs...

If I could get one or all of these running, they would become daily riders.

I rode the 750 for about a year, with only idling issues, but ran strong.
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.
