new guy from Texas
« on: January 03, 2007, 11:17:29 AM »
Been looking at this forum for a while now.  I ride a stock (except for seat and exhaust) 77 cb750k.  This seems like a no-nonsense kind of place to exchange information and learn a little about bikes.  Got a digital camera for xmas, so pictures will be coming, but I don't know how to work it yet.  Don't really know what else to say except hello to everyone here.

I can't figure out how to put pictures on here.  I thought I was doing it right, but I guess not.  I got pictures on the computer, but can't get them on here.  Anyway, this is a cool site with a lot of great information.

Welcome.

As for the picture uploading, remember the image file has to be 80K or less. Then click on the "Additional Options" then use the browse button to find the image file on your PC. Double click on the file name when you find it and it will load the name into the input box. Then just post the reply.

Hey I got it to work!  Somebody told me about the photobucket and I figured I would try it out, and I think it works!!  Anyway, here are some pictures.

Dave, I am located in Marshall, TX.

Hey Dave, your bike looks like it's in good shape.  As far as saying hello, you've quite covered it with the picture-hounds (that would be everyone) in the forum.

If you're interested, you can make the PhotoBucket photos show up right in the post like this:

To do that, you need to put the web address (URL) between two image tags:
Code: [Select]
[img] and [/img]
Like so:
Code: [Select]
[img]http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u13/ff154/Scott-2.jpg[/img]
Of course, the preview button becomes quite useful -- for me at least -- because I never get it right the first time. ;)

You can also start a personal album through the gallery link on SOHC4.com.  You have to register separately though.  Nice looking bike, my friend!

What difference between a K7 and a K8? It's all about razzing Eldar, isn't it!

Can't tell what they are but there seems to be a problem where the pipes meat the muffler.
