Slip on Muffler 75 CB550F? None available why?
« on: September 17, 2019, 03:11:09 am »
Is it just me or what? I have looked high and low and can’t find a decent slip on muffler for my CB550F. Headers are ok. Don’t need them. Any input or ideas appreciated. I like the Motowerks style Yoshimura style. I have access to Stainless Steel pipes and can weld. Can I buy universal baffles and make one. Not sure of back PSI needed. Thanks

Mac make a megaphone style slip on muffler. And I wondered if the Delkevic mufflers (two different styles available) could be made to fit. I/p dia looks similar to the 550F headers dia.

Cone Engineering can customize or they have a fair amount of pre-made stuff.  They have components if you are looking to build your own.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried a piece of S.S pipe today but too. Off by 5 mm. I did see one in Dime City I could retro fit. Still looking.
