Ok...I'm ignorant on Heli-Coil repairs...Ron (MCRider) and I need to fix 3-5 stripped out cam tower bolt holes that have finally given up the ghost after all the removals of the top end.
Before I juts go to NAPA and buy some M6x1 heli-coils....I thought to get some insight onto brands and such. Are all heli-coils up to snuff? Or are there preferred brands out there? Also, one of the stripped threads is for the recessed hole where the cam tower dowel is....any tricks dealing with the recessed holes? Looks straight forward in all the videos.
