First engine rebuild 1977 CB750K
« on: November 03, 2019, 12:32:22 PM »
I accidentally deleted my entire thread on my rebuild..........I uploaded the wrong vid and when I tried to delete it I guess I forgot to highlight what I wanted to delete and now the whole thread is gone.....bummer.

BUT the engine is back in the bike and in my opinion it sounds great, especially compared to what it use to sound like so I am very very very happy. So far no oil leaks but I have only put about 70 miles on the bike since.  I'm going to put a before video and after so  please let me know what you think. Many thanks to everyone on the forum for the help!

Also I just want to add I made many mistakes but the engine works so I can deal with that. hopefully I will learn from them.

Mistakes include not powder coating the frame which was a huge mistake.

After doing an excellent job painting the engine I managed to ruin it by not putting my overflow fuel lines on my carbs which eventually leaked all over the paint and ruined it.

And there are few things I should have rebuilt but I got impatient since cold weather was coming.
