Topic: cb650 rear brake drum lever question

I've bent the arm that comes out of the rear brake drum, bike is 79 cb650
 
According to the parts catalog here on the site, it looks like part number 43410-404-000. Site says manual is applicable for 79-82 model years.

But I've also found several other part numbers for a cb650 (650A, 650Z, 650SC, etc) that falls within those years, and they look quite similar, such as 43410-mr5-000 or 43410-426-610. I even found one listed for an 81 nighthawk, when it looks like the nighthawk model didn't even come out until 82 or 83. Much confuse!

My question is, does anyone know if these very similar looking parts might be cross-compatible before I make an ebay purchase for a part that won't fit? Just trying to get riding again asap. Thank you for your time.

Awesome, thank you. I had glanced at that page as well. Had not seen that part where it says the 404-000 part number is superseded by mr5-000.

Well I took the plunge and got a whole rear brake linkage with the arm, on the Bay for 99 cents plus ship. Title and description say parts are from an 81 cb650 Nighthawk. I don't know that model very well but according to my searches that bike wasn't made till a year or two later? In any case the lever looks exactly like my old one. Just hoping the splined end matches.
