This morning I received this email from cb-750@yahoogroups.com regarding the CB750 Yahoo group that's been in place since 1998.

"Well this isn't good. I know there hasn't been a lot of activity in recent years but we will lose a lot of valuable historic info"


"Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site. Beginning October 21, you won't be able to upload any more content to the site, and as of December 14 all previously posted content on the site will be permanently removed. You'll have until that date to save anything you've uploaded."

I know a lot of us met over there during the Greenspun days and migrated here when these forums were activated. There is certainly a great wealth of information there that will be lost forever. I'm planning to download as much as I can in the time we have left.
