Ok, reinstalling the stock air box on a Honda 500 Four, most on this site know of the fun involved. In my haste to test my carb rebuild I made the mistake of throwing the carbs back on before the air box, thinking I could slide it in without the rubbers, that proved to be as true a having a lovable Mother-in-Law. Off to the this site and Youtube to read up on reinstall of this "Son of Satan." The one thing I found to be a huge help was a ratchet strap lightly cinched across the carbs and front of the frame to fully seat the rack and give just a little more room. I was able to work the airbox rubbers back on the carbs with very little effort. I did not see this tip in any of the posts and I am sure someone has thought of it before me, but thought I would throw it up incase anyone else is getting ready to go through the process.....
