After talking with pops he said they were stock with top covers removed (all about the look). Frame was not modified and tank was supposedly “built for the bike” . I assumed that it was just a high tunnel Frisco from looking at the pictures and knowing my dad but I could be wrong. I haven’t found a cb with a Frisco in my searches.
Yeah he was definitely the 70-80s NJ biker. Grabbed the Honda cause the AMF Harley bs, I also currently have is old Harley sitting in my garage that was recently passed down. The R. Crumb art is an ongoing deal. It’s on the tank of my/his old bike.
Vintage CB750 has a lot of what I need and eBay for the most part has the rest, I could care less about what others think, I have never seen another bike like this cruising around nowadays. I can’t fvkcen wait. Bars seem to be figured out, found them on Vintage CB as a “specialty bar” with no holes, he had to run wires outside cause he didn’t want to change so I guess that all kinda fits together. Supposedly he got them via the Honda deal in 1970 so I’m guessing the pair offered from vintage is it.
Lights are next, rear lens cover screws, rectangle. Any ideas? I found similar but not exact, I know I’m gonna have to bite the bullet on some stuff and get current offerings but gotta try first.
Cheers everyone!
